

College Denouement - Pt 3A thick blanket of fog had pasted itself over the half-hearted moat of the Hospita-college, its whispy spits of air so thick it scarcely seemed to move. The sodden grass that surrounded it, impaled with a staling branch of a deceased Ent - one of Jills more elaborate attempts to extract the fabled corner of people. A faint whine of a dying cat vibrated through the stale air, mixing it up into an atmospheric cocktail of inebriating proportions. The stoned path that curved across the moat and up to the road (Jill had done her best to make as many cutbacks on students as possible - and it being near the forest, she felt she could dispose oCollege Denouement - Pt 3


College Denouement - Pt 2As the nightly rabble of Leigh clambered and scrambled from the streets into the nearest derelict or pub, the streets began to lay themselves bare, spare for a few rebellious crisp packets that saw no fear in the darkness and continued their elegant gliding through the stagnant air. The lonely wisps of wind were soon met by a deafening crackle of electrical interference. A blue orb began to grow in the centre of the deserted road, swelling to great size, a few rogue blasts of electricity hitting a nearby pylon, making the scene far more dramatic. Jill clasped her skeletal talons together with a sharp rasp to gather her small band of students attentions, as she led them past the once-more broken elevator - the sheer weight of Lauras tresses crumpling the cheap lift designed only for television sets and Gareth Booth - and up the poster-plastered stairwells, stopping only upon the arrival at the entrance to the library. College Collection Chapter 14The sodden grass crunched under their feet as each and every member of the crew, excluding Nicola obviously who was still hidden amongst the rubble of the destructed bingo hall - lost in a BJ, gathered around a small and rather fresh gravestone, that gleamed amongst the others with its lack of moss and fungus crawling across it. It was a grave moment in their lives. It was true that they had been fortunate to escape with their lives, except of course for the Costello demon who was caught in the blast instigated by fiery Fiona, but they had lost a friend turned sour.
